Carl Overy
President & Chief Executive Officer
Carl Overy was appointed President & Chief Executive Officer of Odyssey Group on January 1, 2025. He manages OdysseyRe’s reinsurance portfolio and underwriting platform operating through five regions: North America, Latin America, EMEA, Asia Pacific and London. He also oversees Odyssey Group’s global insurance operations.
Carl joined the Company in 2001 and was appointed Chief Actuary of the London Market Division in 2002. He was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of the Division in 2008, serving in CEO roles for both Odyssey Reinsurance Company’s London branch and Newline Group. Effective October 1, 2026, he assumed the role of president and CEO of Hudson in addition to his current responsibilities. Prior to Odyssey, Carl was a pricing and reserving actuary for Sphere Drake and an actuarial consultant for Bacon & Woodrow.
He received a BSc in Mathematics with Engineering from Nottingham University and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Trevor Howard
Chief Underwriting Officer
Trevor Howard is Chief Underwriting Officer of Hudson Insurance Group. He joined Hudson in 2018 to lead the Management Liability team and subsequently assumed responsibility for Hudson’s Financial Institutions, Medical Professional, Cyber and Professional Liability lines, which later relaunched as HudsonPro®. Most recently, Trevor assumed the responsibility of overseeing Commercial Auto, Surety, Subcontractor Default Insurance and Ceded Re.
Trevor has nearly three decades of experience in professional liability insurance. Prior to joining Hudson, he served as chief underwriting officer of management and professional liability lines at Liberty Mutual, where he was responsible for the distribution, production and performance of all U.S. D&O and E&O business. He previously held underwriting roles at Reliance National.
Trevor holds a B.A. from the University of Delaware. He is based in Hudson’s New York City office.

Beth Diamond
Chief Claims Officer
Beth Diamond is the Chief Claims Officer of Hudson Insurance Group.
Beth has more than two decades of specialty claims experience and most recently served as group chief claims and litigation officer at Beazley. During her tenure, she led high-performing, industry-renowned teams across multiple lines of business and held global leadership positions across complex claims and cyber & technology.
Beth holds a J.D. from Cornell Law School and a B.A. from Wellesley College.

Lee Lloyd
Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary
Lee Lloyd is Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary of Hudson Insurance Group. He joined the company in 2025 to assume responsibility for the actuarial function.
Lee has over 30 years of experience in both actuarial and underwriting roles. Prior to joining Hudson, he held senior leadership positions at Coaction Specialty Insurance including Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer and Chief Actuary among others. He was also the Chief Actuary and Chief Underwriting Officer of United Educators Insurance after starting his actuarial career at the Travelers and then the Zurich insurance companies.

Karen Colonna is Senior Vice President & General Counsel of Hudson Insurance Group joining Hudson from Fairfax affiliate, Allied World Insurance Company.
Karen has almost 30 years of insurance and reinsurance industry experience, including 20 years as Deputy General Counsel of Allied World Insurance Company, its U.S. affiliates and Canadian branch. Prior to Allied World, Karen worked for AIG, SOREMA Re and Edwards Angell LLP (now part of Troutman Pepper Locke).
