Christopher Gallagher
President & Chief Executive Officer
Christopher L. Gallagher is President and Chief Executive Officer of Hudson Insurance Group. He
assumed the position of President in April 2009. Chris joined Hudson from Chubb Re in November
2002 as Chief Underwriting Officer.
Prior to Chubb Re, he was Chief Underwriting Officer at Sirius American Insurance Company. Chris
began his career in reinsurance in 1986 and assumed positions of increasing responsibility at
New Zealand Reinsurance and the Reinsurance Corp of NY (RECO). He also managed the General
Casualty treaty team at Transatlantic Re where he was responsible for Auto, General Liability,
Workers’ Compensation, Umbrella and Clash business.

Lee Lloyd
Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary
Lee Lloyd is Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary of Hudson Insurance Group. He joined the company in 2025 to assume responsibility for the actuarial function.
Lee has over 30 years of experience in both actuarial and underwriting roles. Prior to joining Hudson, he held senior leadership positions at Coaction Specialty Insurance including Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer and Chief Actuary among others. He was also the Chief Actuary and Chief Underwriting Officer of United Educators Insurance after starting his actuarial career at the Travelers and then the Zurich insurance companies.

Karen Colonna
Senior Vice President, General Counsel
Karen Colonna is Senior Vice President & General Counsel of Hudson Insurance Group joining Hudson from Fairfax affiliate, Allied World Insurance Company.
Karen has almost 30 years of insurance and reinsurance industry experience, including 20 years as Deputy General Counsel of Allied World Insurance Company, its U.S. affiliates and Canadian branch. Prior to Allied World, Karen worked for AIG, SOREMA Re and Edwards Angell LLP (now part of Troutman Pepper Locke).
