Tim Anderson and Bill Lane Join Hudson Insurance Group’s Subcontractor Default Insurance Team

Hudson Insurance Group (Hudson) today announced that it is strengthening its Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI) business with the addition of Tim Anderson and Bill Lane. Mr. Anderson joins Hudson’s SDI team as an executive underwriter, while Mr. Lane joins as a risk engineer.

“Tim and Bill’s wealth of knowledge in this highly specialized market will be instrumental in helping to strengthen and expand our SDI product,” said Hudson’s President and CEO, Christopher Gallagher. “We are excited to have them join the team, and know they will be key to our continued success.”

Mr. Anderson’s experience in construction spans over three decades, including more than 10 years underwriting SDI business. Prior to joining Hudson, he was a senior vice president at Arch, leading their SDI unit. Additionally, he holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Risk Management designations.

Mr. Lane most recently served as the risk engineering team manager at AXA XL. He brings more than 15 years of experience in project management and SDI risk engineering to Hudson. Mr. Lane holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Hudson’s SDI business unit commenced underwriting in 2018 and serves general contractors with annual subcontract volume in excess of $50 million.
