Tim Anderson Joins Hudson Insurance Subcontractor Default Insurance Unit
New York, NY – September XX, 2019 – Hudson Insurance Group (Hudson) today announced that Tim Anderson has joined its Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI) team as Executive Underwriter.
Hudson’s support of general contractors extends back more than 10 years, when it began offering contract surety bonds. Its SDI business unit commenced underwriting in 2018.
“Tim’s wealth of knowledge in this highly specialized market will be instrumental in helping to strengthen and expand our SDI product,” said Hudson’s President and CEO, Christopher Gallagher. “We are excited to have him join the team, and know he will be key to its continued success.”
Mr. Anderson most recently served as a senior vice president at Arch Insurance, where he led its SDI unit. He has over 10 years of experience in SDI underwriting, while his experience in construction spans over three decades. Additionally, he holds the Chartered Property & Casualty, Associate in Risk Management and Certified Risk Manager designations, and is a licensed insurance broker and non-resident agent.
Mr. Anderson will report to Wallace Moreman, Senior Vice President, Hudson Insurance Group.
